How To Remake Yourself

Did you ever take the time to notice, how some stars or entertainers seem to have longevity and are always in the public eye, and others seem to be like one hit wonders? Well there is a science behind that, let me explain, the reason is that some people are better at remaking themselves than others. It's that same ingredient that makes a long term relationship still seem fresh, when other long term relationships have long gone stale, routine and boring. When people know what to expect, there's no surprises. So my advice is to be constantly remaking yourself, in your job, in your relationships, in your life. The way to be constantly renewing and remaking yourself is to always be learning a new skill, a new word, a new something. Nature gives us a good lesson, and that is all things that don't evolve get disolved.

How Pepsi Survived

When Pepsi started, it's founder went broke after World War I, Pepsi was then sold again, again, and again after being bouched around for at least two decades, it ended up being owned by the Loft candy company. What kept it alive during the depression was the idea to sell it in 12oz bottles versus Coca Cola's 6 oz bottles and the asvertising jingle-Pepsi Cola hits the spot, 12 full ounces, that's a lot, twice as much for a nickel too, Pepsi Cola is the drink for you. After the war Pepsi had to regroup again, this time under the leadership of Joan Crawfords husband Alfred Steele, a super salesman who left a Coca Cola vice presidency in 1949, he took 15 men with him, and revitalized the Pepsi brand, Steele told the bottlers: "You can conserve your way to bankruptcy or you can spend your way to Prosperity," In other words: AVERTISE.
